Accessibility Commitment for Users with Visual Impairments
POVISON is committed to providing an inclusive digital experience for users with visual impairments. We adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Below is our progress and commitment:
Keyboard Navigation
WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 2.1.1 (Keyboard): Full keyboard operability is now supported, enabling users to navigate menus, forms, and complete orders without a mouse.
Key Pages: Checkout workflows and core service pages are fully optimized.
Image Accessibility
WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 1.1.1 (Non-Text Content): Alternative text (alt-text) has been systematically added to critical images across all primary pages.
Contextual Alerts & Pop-ups
WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 3.2.2 (Labels/Instructions) & 3.3.2 (Labels/Instructions):
New window opened via links now triggers a keyboard-accessible warning.
Form validation errors use clear, high-contrast text with focus indicators.
WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 3.2.3 (Consistent Navigation): Improving navigation predictability for screen readers.
WCAG 2.2 Success Criterion 3.2.5 (Change on Focus): Enhancing focus order visibility in dynamic content.
